General Motors to launch 4 new models
General Motors India (GMI) now plans to have an enlarged presence in the India, both in terms of models as well as a profitable dealer network. In oreder to strengthen the brand at least four new models, including the widely expected mini-car, will hit the Indian roads in the next 18 months General Motors India is also keen to introduce the brands 'Hummer' and the 'Cadilac' range of cars over the next 2-3 years. These will vie for honours along with the initially introduced 'Opel' and the subsequent 'Chevy' brand of vehicles in India. General Motors India has already drawn plans to launch three new models in the Indian market and this does not include the mini-car.
